An Outworlder in Mortal Kombat X
Outworlders are the native inhabitants of the realm of Outworld.
Like most inhabitants of the realms of Mortal Kombat, Outworlders look like humans, but they seem to have a greater talent for magic, and live much longer. Though they dislike their rulers, almost all Outworlders have their own schemes to attain more power and influence. Known Outworlders include Master Bo' Rai Cho, Li Mei, General Reiko, and Assassin Skarlet. To see a full list of Outworlders, see the Outworld Characters. The Masked Guards and Shadow Priests are also presumed to be Outworlders.
Most Outworlders who are not evil or dangerous hold on to their immortal truth about the independence of their realm, despite being trapped in a seemingly perpetual state of despotism, chaos, and war.
As one Outworlder said, "This realm is in a constant state of upheaval. Evil rulers come and go, but the spirit of the people will never be extinguished."
