Name[]

Godzilla-kun's name is simply taking Godzilla and adding the Japanese word -kun at the end.

Design[]

Appearance[]

Godzilla-kun's puppet is modeled after the Showa Godzilla designs, specifically MosuGoji from Mothra vs. Godzilla, seen mostly with the head and the grey eyebrows. He has three rows of dorsal fins, large green eyes, small hands, and three-toed feet.

Roar[]

Godzilla-kun reuses the Showa Godzilla's roar.

History[]

Godziban[]

"We Are the Three Godzilla Brothers!"[]

Godzilla-kun introduced himself alongside his brothers, Minilla and Little, before beginning to teach them how to be powerful and awesome monsters. First he tried to train the others roars, showing off his own first. While he was impressed with Little's roar, Minilla's lacked power. Godzilla-kun continued trying to get Minilla to unleash a more powerful roar, with every failed attempt causing both him and Little to fall over, with some of the failed attempts including a sneeze and a fart. Later Godzilla-kun would try to teach his younger brothers to use their heat ray. Little once again did good but Minilla needed some help as he could only fire a smoke ring. To do this, Godzilla-kun stepped on his tail, causing Minilla to fire a massive amount of smoke rings, allowing him to destroy the pile of boulders. Eventually the three began watching the clouds, with Godzilla-kun pointing out a cloud that looked like a pineapple. The three brothers decided it was time for a snack break, Godzilla-kun deciding to eat the grapes. At night the trio wrapped up their day of training by firing their heat rays into the air.

"Smack It, Godzilla Brothers!"[]

Godzilla-kun would try to teach his brothers next how to use their tails, showing off how to use their tails by throwing a rock into the air and hitting it with in tail. Godzilla-kun then got Little and Minilla to do it, although Minilla needed some help. After some trail and error, Godzilla-kun got Minilla to rapidly swing his tail. Godzilla-kun then threw a rock with Minilla smacking the rock into Godzilla-kun's face. Godzilla-kun congratulated Minilla before falling to the ground. After getting up, Godzilla-kun got his brothers to hit three rocks in rapid succession, with Little doing good and Minilla hitting all three rocks in the air. Godzilla-kun couldn't see the rocks until all three hit him on the head, once again causing him to fall to the ground. Moshu-Moshu then arrived, wanting to hit the rocks. Though he was doubtful, Godzilla-kun decided to throw the rocks, with Moshu-Moshu easily hitting it. Impressed, Godzilla-kun threw multiple rocks, with Moshu-Moshu once again hitting all of them.

"Secret Training Dojo"[]

Godizlla-kun would take his brothers to a secret training dojo, a place that the Godzilla family had been using for generations. During the hike, they encountered Anguirus, with Godzilla-kun having a little chat with them. When the brothers arrived at the half-point, Godzilla-kun showed them what to do, running down the half-point, grabbing the bananas on the other end and running back. Godzilla-kun watched his brothers try to get the bananas on the other end but fail. Eventually Moshu-Moshu arrived and wanted to roll across the half-point. Godzilla-kun was doubtful but allowed her to do so, impressed at Moshu-Moshu's skills. After Moshu-Moshu got the three Godzilla brothers they bananas, the trio alongside Anguirus decided to feast of the fruit.

"Secret Move! Dropkick"[]

Godzilla-kun would take his brothers back to the secret training dojo, this time teaching them the special ability, the dropkick. Godzilla-kun used the dropkick to kick the rock down the half-point. Godzilla-kun would grab the rock as it continued rolling and allowed his brothers to try and dropkick the rock. Little was able to dropkick but was unsuccessful in kicking the rock, while Minilla would be propelled by his kick on top of the rock, causing the rock to roll off. After Little tried to grab Minilla off but also latch onto the rock, Godzilla-kun tried to do the same but wasn't able to grab his brothers, eventually also having to hold on to the rock.

"Run On, Godzilla Brothers!"[]

Godzilla-kun decided to have a footrace for that day's training, with Anguirus, Baragon and Moshu-Moshu joining in. Godzilla-kun would pair himself with Anguirus, the two keeping equal pace with each other. During their run, the two would speak to each other without using words due to the fact that they were best friends. Both Godzilla-kun and Anguirus would be passed by Moshu-Moshu, who was so fast that they both spun out. Godzilla-kun and Anguirus then returned after Moshu-Moshu, with Godzilla-kun tired out after the run. Eventually the 'real race' began, where all six of the monsters would have to grab a flag on top of a hill. Godzilla-kun ran as fast as possible but would be beaten out by Moshu-Moshu and Minilla.

"A Godziban Tale: The Tortoise and the Hare"[]

Godzilla-kun and his brothers would retell the story of the tortoise and the hare, with Godzilla-kun acting as the hare, wearing rabbit ears. Godzilla-kun would be confused why there were two tortoises due to Little and Minilla acting as the tortoises and saying that their turtle shells reminded them of Gamera, though he would be interrupted. Godzilla-kun, Little and Minilla would then start their race, Godzilla-kun being much faster than the tortoises. Due to this, Godzilla-kun decided to take a nap. Eventually Godzilla-kun would wake up and assume that Minilla and Little had passed him like in the original story. Godzilla-kun would go on about the moral of the original tale only to noticed the two tortoises were still behind him. Godzilla-kun then roared in anger as Little and Minilla began spinning off the ground.

"Land of Fire: Aso, Kumamoto Edition"[]

Godzilla-kun would introduce himself to the audience, telling the audience to call him Godzilla-kun. When he heard people only wanting to call him Godzilla, Godzilla-kun would roar in rage.

"Go! Jet Jaguar!/Grandpa Hedo Recap"[]

Godzilla-kun alongside his brothers would introduce himself to the audience.

"Fly to the Cliff!"[]

Godzilla-kun would take his brothers out for another day of training but would be interrupted by Anguirus who had spotted an egg on a cliff. Godzilla-kun decided to take Minilla and Little to the egg following Anguirus to the location. After Anguirus tried and failed climbing the mountain to get the egg, Godzilla-kun, alongside his brothers, would climb alongside Anguirus, though none of the kaiju were successful. Eventually Little pointed out that they could use a tree that Anguirus had launched off of previously. Godzilla-kun would place Minilla and Little on the tree and fling them up on top of the cliffside. After Minilla holding onto the egg fell off the cliff, Godzilla-kun and the brothers made a nest for it. Godzilla-kun and Little then returned home but allowed Minilla to sleep beside the egg.
