Archetype refers to a group of exotic materials central to the plot of Godzilla: Singular Point, particularly its first form, the Red Dust. Its discovery and occurrence creates a great furor in the international community, worsened when creatures capable of manipulating the Archetype start to appear, such as Godzilla and Salunga.

Function[]

There are thirteen forms of Archetype. The molecule is trans-dimensional; it extends out and can touch other dimensions. Half of it will be in another dimension at any one time. Source veins are Singular Points and the material can be mined, although veins are rare. Known locations are Upala, India and Tokyo, Japan. Some creatures from other dimensions, like the Rodan, need a constant source of it or else they die. Other creatures like Godzilla can use it to advance in evolution stages and get larger and stronger. The dust can be hazardous to breathe for humans, so masks are often used. It can also disrupt electromagnetic fields, hindering internet and phone usage.

Furthermore, Archetype is classified as 'super-dimensional'. The prefix super meaning beyond or higher, so Archetype can be classified as a molecule that is beyond dimensions entirety or extends to the fourth dimension. As it has properties of higher dimensional physics that seemingly breaks the laws of regular physics. Such as when light from a laser is pointed into it. It will infinitely obtain more and more light until it shatters. Which is caused from trapping light from not only physical space, but throughout time itself.

(A way to imagine Archetype is that your looking at a shadow. You, as a 3d being, project a 2d shadow. Archetype is 4d, producing a 3d shadow.)

Due to Archetype being super / trans-dimensional. It has properties to essentially allow to exist on the dimension of time / temporality as if it was space. A certain period in time would just be a destination. The reason it can time travel is because time is not similar to the time of a lower dimensional being. 3d beings cannot control time at all, only acknowledge it. But can traverse through their 3d landscape with no issue, excluding factors such as flight or swimming. Godzilla Ultima (just for example, because he is a singular point) would be able to traverse time as if he could step on it and tangibly make contact with it. It is simply just "walking" to a new point in time.
