The Symbiote Hive was created by the Venom symbiote as a way of spawning more Symbiotes at a much faster rate so they could take over humans and other living beings and ultimately conquer Earth.

Venom's Hive was being powered by the meteorite in which Venom arrived on Earth. The Spider-Men kept the symbiotes at bay to prevent their invasion of the entire Earth. The Hive was mostly destroyed when Peter, Miles and MJ managed to destroy the meteorite causing the disintegration of most symbiotes throughout the city preventing its spread throughout the Earth, though some still remained active.^[1]

Claws

• All symbiotes, except Venom and Scream, have the spiral symbol, a symbol related to Knull. The different symbiote varieties also beared resemblance to Phage (Melee), Lasher (Rusher), Agony (Ranged), Riot (Behemoth) and Hybrid (Grabber).
