After learning that her unborn daughter would be born with myasthenia gravis, she travelled to the Amazon Jungle of Peru to search for a spider with peptides that could heal her daughter. Despite being near her due date, Constance refused to give up. Unfortunately, immediately after find her spider, Constance was shot by Ezekiel Sims, who stole her spider specimen. As she lay dying, Santiago and las Arañas tried to rescue her. Although Constance died, las Arañas were able to deliver her baby and heal her myasthenia gravis.^[1]
