New islet of the coast of England between Cornwall and Isles of Scilly created by Rictor and his druids.[1]
History
Following the Hellfire Gala and the dissolution of Great Britain's alliance with Krakoa, Rictor returned to the Braddock Lighthouse and recruited the druids living beneath Cornwall to assist him in carving out a new islet. The rocky soil doesn't typically support vegetation, but Krakoan flowers have taken hardily to the land. At extremely low tide, the island is occasionally still reachable by land.[1]
Following the creation of new island, the British military created an armed barricade between the island and the mainland.[2]
The Lighthouse was destroyed when Coven Akkaba and Morgan Le Fay cast a spell to destroy the Krakoan Gateway inside the lighthouse. The magical explosion would have killed all of Excalibur, but everyone was saved by the intervention of Captain Britain and here Starlight Sword.[3] With the lighthouse destroyed and conflict continuing between the U.K. government and Krakoa, the Braddocks decided to move Braddock Manor to the isle via Monarch's reality warping. After relocating the manor, Betsy invited * Pete Wisdom and S.T.R.I.K.E. to set up their headquarters in the manor as well.[4]Points of Interest
