Status is the term for the data on Masters, Embryos, Monsters, Skills and ability values that have notarized via text and numbers in Infinite Dendrogram.

Information[]

Excluding information on skills, the basic status is divided into 8 categories; HP, MP, SP, STR, AGI, END, DEX and LUC.

For those who possess high values in STR and AGI, it is common to subconsciously "switch" their mindset from battle to normal (jobless individual), due to their high status values potentially impeding daily life.

MP and SP naturally recovers at a rate of 1.38888888889% per hour and becomes fully restored after 72 hours.

At level 0, the normal status values of a Tian or Master will be around 100 HP with other stats being around 10-20. Among humans born in the world of Infinite Dendrogram, especially talented ones, some status values might be higher at birth. However, Masters possess essentially the same status values at the start regardless of their body size, race, etc...

For tians with a high rank job specialized in a certain stat, the average is around 10,000 for HP, MP and SP, and other stats around 1,000. Masters possess status correction from Embryos, with the average around 1,000 to 2,500.

The status of Superior Job holders depends on the level, but depending on the job status specialization, the average is 100,000 for HP, MP and SP, and between 10,000 and 20,000 for other stats.

HP[]

HP (体力) represents vitality and decreases when taking damage, and when it reaches 0, the person fundamentally dies.

MP[]

MP (魔力) represents embodied magical power. It is consumed when using spells and skills which require magical power. The value of MP has an effect on magic effects, abnormal mental debuffs resistance and fatigue, which occurs as MP decreases.

SP[]

SP (技力) represents soul power. It is consumed to use skills such as those body strengthening or weapon/technique skills. The value of SP has an effect on abnormal mental debuffs resistance.

STR[]

STR (筋力) represents a body's pure muscular strength. It affects attack power and physical attack skills, e.g. when STR is increased by 10 times, attack power is multiplied by 10. If STR is 1,000 then 100 x gravity can be resisted. However, when skills are used that increase attack power, STR does not increase. A person’s body could handle the impact of an attack using their own STR. When a person's STR reached negative digits, they become incapable of supporting their own weight and even move and if it decreases even further, they will no longer have the strength to breathe.

AGI[]

AGI (速度) represents a person's agility, reflexes, and thinking speed. The higher a person's AGI, the more slowly they will experience the movement of their surroundings. A person's velocity is calculated with a special formula that includes AGI, as AGI does not scale exactly to a person's velocity. When a person's AGI exceeds 10,000, they can move at supersonic speeds and the formula becomes simplified with AGI scale exactly to a person's velocity. A pure AGI-based attacker only needed about a tenth of their AGI’s worth of END to withstand the recoil of their super-fast attacks but only for short periods of time. When a person's AGI reached negative digits, their surroundings appears to move faster the lower their AGI becomes.

END[]

END (耐久力) represents the body's durability or toughness. It affects defense power, resistance to wound type status effects, and knockback resistance. When a person's END reaches a certain level, weapons like knives will be unable to puncture skin, but unless a person has a damage resistance skill, no matter how high their END is relative to an opponent's attack, they will receive at least 1 damage point to their HP. If END is higher than the opponent's STR, the body will not likely be blown away. When a person's END reaches negative digits, they will receive damage whenever they try to move.

DEX[]

DEX (器用) represents a person's dexterity. It mostly affects the success rate of production type skills, long range weapon skills and certain close combat skills. It also has an effect on skills for piloting vehicles. When a person's DEX reaches negative digits, they will lose the ability to hold onto anything.

LUC[]

LUC (幸運) represents a person's good luck. It only affects drop item rates and effects of certain skills. Because of this, unlike the other categories, unless it involves certain jobs, LUC barely increases from the initial value. When a person's LUC reaches negative digits, they will experience sudden misfortunes that can potentially kill them.

Trivia[]

  • Typically, the bigger the creature (excluding humans with Jobs), the greater the amount of HP they possess.
  • When someone whose attack power is in the negative range attacks someone, they will instead deal damage to themselves.
  • If a tian has amnesia and has forgotten their name, their name in their status window becomes blurred and unreadable until they recover their memories.
