Made this and added a slice of sharp cheddar. Delicious!

just the mayo with maple syrup & Sriracha would be worth it!!! i can think of so many things to add it to...

This is very simple and very good. I recommend smoked turkey and soft sandwich bread.

Added siracha and it was delicious. The mayo/maple syrup can handle a lot of siracha if you like spicy. Also added a slice of cheddar and lightly toasted some artisanal bread. Yummy and super easy!

Instead of mayonnaise, I used Dijon mustard and increased the maple syrup to 1 tablespoon (to hold its own against the mustard). Delicious!

Throw on a couple slices of Humboldt Fog.

I used soft rolls and added leafy lettuce. I didn’t add any heat to the mayo but I’ll try that next time. It’s a simple but tasty sandwich.

I love the maple mayo idea, and when I'm lazy just spread mayo on bread and then drizzle a bit of maple syrup on it and then smooth it out with a knife. I usually do dijon on the other slice of bread, and add a slice of sharp white cheddar. Makes a nice and easy sandwich to pack for lunch.

I can’t eat raw apples (oral allergy syndrome friends hello) so i just cook sliced apples in the maple syrup and butter. Let cool and then add to sandwich

So simple and good—esp. w/Sriracha. One reader suggested addition of sharp cheddar: I tried it and it was good, but it blunted the taste of apple and sriracha/maple mayo.

added a bit of arugula (with the cheddar cheese)-such a wonderful sandwhich!

Made this tonight and it was delicious! Added sharp cheddar cheese and crispy bacon.

Amazingly quick and simple for so much flavor! Used lightly toasted Cuban rolls. Added cheddar cheese and arugula.

Toasted some artisanal bread, added some spinach and chili crisp. Yum!

Delicious! Made it the first time and realized I didn't have any mayo. Didn't even think it was missing anything but after buying some mayo and making it again I realized how wrong I was. Incredible easy sandwich.

Simple and lovely. I added a dash of sriracha to the mayo and added a slice of sharp cheddar as others have suggested. I also added some arugula. I used a sourdough for the bread and honeycrisp for the apple.

Very good w Sri racha added, toasted white bread

I love peanut butter and apple sandwiches - the savory crunch is perfect. Also, I make my own salt-free whole-grain bread (low-salt diet) so the total combination gives me a complete, and delicious, protein.

Apples, black beans, and brown rice with cumin, ginger, and bay leaf in a slow cooker is awesome.

Yum. Somehow the maple syrup/mayo makes the turkey better!

Made this constantly since last year. Just as instructed, only with mayo, no mayo and onion bread, I changed the cheese, it was stellar in every combination!

Loved this! I baked some "Excellent White Bread" from this site, cut thick slabs and put together these sandwiches - YUM! I did use ALL of the mayo/maple mixture for two large sandwiches. We didn't know what to expect with this combo but it was outstanding!

quick, easy, and yummy! nixed the sriracha but added colby jack and regular syrup (didn't have maple syrup).
