"Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore" is the eighteenth episode of the third season of the Star Wars live action series The Mandalorian. It aired on March 8, 2023.
Use of Aurebesh
Starfighter monitor
Two of the monitors on the console of Din Djarin's N-1 starfighter contain Aurebesh text; this is best seen when Grogu points at the console while signaling to R5-D4 to fly the ship to Bo-Katan on Kalevala:
- The red monitor at the top, above the three blue ones, says "ALT 51" and "PSI 11"; note that the numbers are written in an alternative numeral system, consisting of dots and lines. It is the same monitor that Din Djarin points to after the ship breaks through the clouds of Mandalore and he says to Grogu that the fusion bombs from the Great Purge of Mandalore disrupted the magnetic field around the planet.
- A small blue monitor below the other three blue screens says "TB", with every alternative numeral from 1 to 9 going around the letters. Note that the characters are upside-down.
- The text on the other three monitors are not Aurebesh, but Naboo Futhork.
Atmospheric readings
The atmospheric readings that Djarin receives from R5-D4 says "ANALYZE" (the word below that is too small to decipher in the first shot, and too blurred to decipher in the second shot), "095" and "RGB".
