Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith is a 2005 film written and directed by George Lucas. It is the third and final part of the Star Wars prequel trilogy and chronologically the third instalment of the Skywalker saga.

Use of Aurebesh

Anakin's starfighter

During the opening space battle, right before Anakin says, "Lock on to him, R2," Aurebesh text can be seen on the side of his starfighter, under the cockpit window. The text reads "ELBERT MARIA".

Grievous' escape pod

When General Grievous is inside one of the Invisible Hand's escape pods, preparing to launch, the interior of the escape pod is marked with the letters "JKL" and "YZ", written in an alternate variant of Aurebesh.

Republic star destroyer

After Obi-Wan says goodbye to Anakin, as the camera pans away, upside-down Aurebesh symbols are seen on the entrance to the Vigilance, Obi-Wan's Venator-class Star Destroyer. It says "M" and "EW".

Palpatine's screen

When Anakin comes to the Chancellor's office to inform him that General Grievous has been killed, in the first shot, the large red holographic screen in front of Palpatine contains Aurebesh text, but it is upside-down and merely produces gibberish if translated.

Vader's mask

As the main part of Darth Vader's mask is being lowered into place, digital Aurebesh characters appear on the red-tinted lenses, using the same variant of Aurebesh as Grievous' escape pod. The text consists of the word "NAMESTE" (repeated five times), the word "WAR" (repeated three times), and several long strings of letters in alphabetical order.

The text is written in the same alternate script as Grievous' escape pod. Note that for reasons unknown, the letter M in this script is made up of two shapes and looks like a combination of the Aurebesh letters M and I (this can be also seen in R2's message to Anakin in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace), making making the word "NAMESTE" look like "NAMIESTE"; the unique character can also be seen in the strings of alphabetically numbered letters.
