The Undead treasure these dull green flasks.
Fill with Estus at bonfires, and drink to restore HP.
The journey of an Undead has always traced the bonfires, and no journey of import has been made without an Estus Flask.
Usage
The Estus Flask is a recovery consumable that restores some HP when used. It refills when resting at a bonfire. The number of charges can be increased with Estus Shards and the HP recovery can be improved by burning Undead Bone Shards.
Acquisition
- Automatically received at the start of the game.
Notes
- Initially the Estus Flask has three charges.
- The maximum number of charges is 10.
- The Estus Ring increases HP restored.
- As of 1.76, killing enemies will not randomly give free refills.
- The number of charges is halved (rounded down) while invading or being summoned.
- One charge is restored after successive kills while the Handmaid's Ladle is equipped.
- Stamina Recovery and Poise are stopped while drinking estus.
- If the player is hit during the drinking animation they will receive double damage.
