I have used Expat Tax Professionals for many years of tax filing, as a UK resident with US citizenship. I have always received outstanding service from them and would highly recommend - affordable and thorough service. I finally gave up my US citizenship this year, and Expat Tax helped me with that in regards to submitting all the final paperwork. Even after i had paid the bill for their service and had remaining questions, they still were very helpful tying up loose ends - that is the true reveal of good customer service. Shout out to Lujan Borzalino who i dealt with - patience of a saint :-) Dealing with IRS is not easy and can be stressful as so complicated, but thank goodness i found Expat Tax Professionals

We needed to file our US taxes whilst living abroad. We worked with Expat Tax Professionals, specifically Sarah Elozory, for many years whilst living in the UK. A previous accountant had failed to get all the refunds I was entitled to, but Sarah spotted that and sorted it out for us. She has always been extremely fast at answering questions and very supportive in general. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone in need of foreign tax assistance in the UK.

This was the first year I have used Expat Tax Professionals (or any company) to complete my tax return and FBAR. Overall, I found the process very straightforward, efficient and professional. The platform for uploading information was very clear. I engaged the services of Expat Tax Professionals quite close to the April 15th deadline. I was advised the completion of my taxes might be after this date, and I was impressed that everything was completed by April 15th!

Throughout the process, communication was timely, helpful, and professional. The completed tax form/FBAR were accurate, and demonstrated to me that they have a far superior understanding of expat tax rules and filing than I will ever have.

At this point in time, I am planning to have Expat Tax Professionals prepare my 2024 taxes.

A seamless and easy experience filing taxes. This was my first time filing FEIE and I also had switched jobs mid year / moved investments so was concerned about complexity. I simply submitted all of my info (took 15 mins or so, plus attachments and tax documents) and the team handled my filings with no questions. Highly recommend!

Amazing work overall. The personal interaction with the assigned agent plus the ease of use of the tool is great combination overall.

Just one small note, when filing the e-signature with the company (forgot their name) it would be helpful if they state what happens then explicitly in the email (e.g. once the signature is done, does that mean its been sent to IRS?)

I would happily recommend Expat Tax Professionals. From the start they took the time to review my situation thoroughly so they could provide an accurate quote. My situation wasn't straightforward, but they made it as easy as possible. In my case, the questionnaire took a while to complete, but it was easy to follow and they were on hand with any questions I had. They completed everything in a timely manner and were professional throughout. I had quite a number of questions and they were always happy to answer and came back to me quickly. Expat Tax Professionals are amazing. We had a bad experience with our previous tax person not knowing nearly enough about our US/UK tax issues, including my husband revoking his Green Card. Expat Tax Professionals were phenomenal - responsive, quick and incredibly good at what they do. And they cost less! We will be using them for all of our tax needs in future; they made our lives so much easier, and for far less money! We cannot recommend them enough!

Jamie, Josh, and Alyssa went above and beyond with my tax situation, which seemed straightforward but ended up being complex. They are competent accountants and I feel the service I received was much more comprehensive than other providers would have offered. They answered all of my genuinely daft questions of which I had many. The tax questionnaire is also easy to use.
I will use them again and would recommend them to other expats.

ETP did a great job. I checked with several different expat specialists in advance, and found ETP seemed to offer the best package. In hindsight now, the process that ETP uses is outstanding, and makes tax preparation very efficient. Alyssa, Zahava, and Josh answered all my questions, and were very helpful throughout. Highly recommended. This was the second tax service I used over the years and this was miles better and more professional than my original firm. I found Expat TaxProfessionals after a google search. I'm an American who has lived in London, where I also own a company, for nearly 20 years and have always struggled with help on my US taxes by someone who understood my situation. Expat Tax Professionals do exactly what they say on the tin. They communicated clearly and quickly with me, answered all my questions and by mid-Feb I already have my US taxes filed. By contrast I had been using a large, expensive, London based firm who last year couldn't get my taxes filed by the deadline despite having all the information from me by early February and who and charged me three times as much. One of the staff thre (Jamie Lazarus) explained clearly and in detail how the expat rules apply in my individual circumstance and what I would need to do. Based on his advice I submitted 6 Fbar forms, 3 1040, 3 schedule 1 forms and 1 schedule 6 form. He did not request any payment in my circumstance, but I would have paid if he had needed to prepare any of the forms. I wrote to tell the company that they have established trust and goodwill. I am a computer-type person and could take in a lot of information in the one phone call.
