'I wasn't good': Mbappé reacts to France's semi-final Euros defeat to Spain – video

French striker Kylian Mbappé has acknowledged that he 'wasn't good' after France was defeated by a zippier Spanish team on Tuesday, adding that he was disappointed not to realise his goal of winning the Euro 2024. In a press conference after the game, Mbappé said: 'Our ambition was to be European champions. I wanted to be European champion. But we didn't. So from that point on, it was a failed competition.'

Antoine Giezmann who spent much of the game on the bench, said France was the stronger side in the game until they conceded a goal by Lamine Yamal which 'winded the team'
