Overview
This LSI is compatible with TransferJet X, a millimeter wave wireless technology that uses 60GHz band based on the IEEE802.15.3e standard.
Features
5Gbps high-speed transfer at an effective speed
5Gbps of effective speed is achieved by minimizing the physical layer overhead compared to point-to-multipoint communication methods like Wi-Fi.
No slow down of effective speed at the environment of crowd of people due to point-to-point communication is an advantage in contrast to 4G/5G and Wi-Fi that slow down.
Flash connection
A flash connection establishment under 2 milliseconds is realized by simplifying the protocols specialized for point-to-point communication.
About 1.4GB of data is able to transfer while the time Wi-Fi is trying to connect to the access point (about 2.2 sec.).
Symmetric high speed communication at uplink and downlink
TransferJet X allows high-speed communication at uplink and downlink by enabling point-to-point, symmetric communication.
Long-range communication up to 10 m
The communication range is basically within 10 cm as same as NFC (near field communication), but long-range communication of up to 10 m with an optional antenna is applicable.
