Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery and Instacart delivery are available in select ZIP codes and valid on orders placed by 2 p.m. local time for same-day delivery by 8 p.m. and after 2 p.m. local time for next-day delivery. All orders are subject to driver availability. Customers can opt to have their order partially fulfilled during checkout. Fees vary based on purchase. Your order can be delivered via truck, van or car, depending on the items you order and delivery vendor. Orders will be delivered outside of your jobsite or home. This is a contactless delivery service, so no one needs to be home. Orders aren’t eligible for services such as assembly, hookup or installation.

Orders for same-day delivery must be placed by 2 p.m. local time. Eligible order(s) placed after 2 p.m. will be delivered the next day.

For Lowe’s same-day delivery, our associates strive to fulfill our customers’ orders as fast as possible. There’s a chance that the item(s) could be out of stock when an associate is trying to secure your order. During checkout, customers may opt to partially fulfill their order, and if so, they’ll be reimbursed for the items that could not be fulfilled on the same day.

For Instacart delivery, the Instacart shopper may contact you about item substitutions if products in your cart are out of stock. Substituted items may cost more or less than your original item(s), and your order will be updated to reflect any changes.

Lowe’s offers same-day delivery to your jobsite or home.

Same-day orders aren’t eligible for a scheduled delivery window. However, orders placed before 2 p.m. will be delivered between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time. Customers may place a same-day order prior to 2 p.m., but if they don’t want their order delivered the same day, they may opt to have delivery the following day.

A customer signature isn’t required for delivery.

You’ll receive an order confirmation at the time of purchase. When the same-day order leaves the store location, you’ll receive an in-transit communication. Delivery confirmation will be sent to you upon completion of delivery.

We provide an extensive offering of in-stock items for same-day delivery. These in-stock items include but aren’t limited to building materials, décor, and seasonal and outdoor living products.

• Major appliances

• All-terrain vehicles (ATVs)

• Some plants

• Hazardous materials

• Cut lumber, cut carpet, etc.

• Items that require store assembly

Haul away, installation and threshold delivery are currently unavailable for same-day delivery.

For orders that do not contain live plants, combined order weight of the delivery must be under 2,500 pounds.

Your order may be split into multiple deliveries if it contains live plants and other non-live plants, and the combined weight exceeds 500 pounds.
