Global Technology Solutions Group (GTSG) is a 35-year-old consulting services company focused on Mainframe systems since our inception.

We are seeking an IBM System Automation for z/OS Consultant with deep experience planning, designing, coding and implementing and supporting SAz and IBM NetView in a complex environment as well as working knowledge of competitive mainframe automation products.

Anticipated activities and skills include:

  • Installing and configuring IBM SAz with NetView
  • Ability to develop and modify System and Application automation routines for z/OS multi-Sysplex Systems
  • Broad ISV experience, especially with regards to application interactions, incident creation and notification, performance alerting, etc.
  • Understanding of the capabilities and configuration specifics of third-party automation products designing equivalent automation solutions with the IBM Z System Automation Suite
  • Excellent REXX programming skills with a creative ability to interface system, operations, and application considerations into a scalable and supportable solution
  • SAz in a GDPS environment is a bonus

At the present time, all activities are remote and unlikely to change. Compensation based on experience, architecture & leadership skills among other factors.
