We've teamed up with Traceloop to help you track metrics for LLM applications. Combine your Traceloop and PostHog data to answer gnarly questions like: 🤔 How often is my LLM hallucinating? Which users run into these issues the most? 💰 What are my LLM costs by customer, model, and in total? 🛑 Which users run into the most generation latency spikes or errors?
PostHog
Software Development
Product analytics, session replay, feature flags, A/B testing, data warehouse, CDP, surveys. PostHog does that.
About us
At PostHog, we're working to increase the number of successful products in the world. Until now, tools for building products have been fragmented. Product analytics, heatmaps, session recording, feature flags, and A/B testing are all helpful, but no one wants to buy, send data to, and integrate multiple products. PostHog offers these tools (and more) in an integrated, open source platform which can be hosted in either the US or EU. Both versions are SOC2 certified, GDPR-ready, and HIPAA compliant. We started PostHog during Y Combinator's W20 cohort and had the most successful B2B software launch on Hacker News since 2012 - with a product that was just 4 weeks old. With over 100,000 users, we're default alive, growing 97% through word of mouth, and we are in the top 0.01% most popular repos on GitHub.

We've decided to make less money [Part 1] 🔥 As of today, we're drastically cutting prices and making PostHog the cheapest session replay tool among competitive products. How much you'll save will depend on your usage, but if you capture 25k recordings per month, your bill will now be $85 a month, down from $430 a month – a huge $4,140 annual saving. Volumes beyond 50k are around 2x cheaper than before. There's a breakdown on our blog, or you can calculate your new price on our pricing page. Of course, many tools don’t publish pricing. That’s their choice, but we’re pretty confident it’s not because they’re secretly great value. We're currently in the process of migrating existing users to the new session replay pricing. You should receive an email about this soon. Why are we doing this? Because: 1) We believe in charging as little as possible while remaining margin positive on all our products. 2) The true value of PostHog comes from using all our products together. We make money by onboarding customers onto more of them, not maximizing the profitability of individual tools. But, and this is important, we don't believe in loss-leaders. They're bad for us and our customers. We believe in products that are great value and sustainable. This new pricing is both.

Why aren't you dogfooding?! Everyone at PostHog dogfoods (or hogfoods?) our product. Why? It helps us ship faster by getting lots of internal feedback. It helps us spot problems early and fix them. It motivates us! If your product is good, it improves team confidence. If it's bad, we're motivated to make it better. It means we deeply understand our product. And, as a result, we can fix cross-functional issues quickly. It gives us empathy. If we find something annoying, we know our users will to. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eC7mi3cS

Does 🦔 james hawkins really think our engineers are arrogant?? 😱 Check out his latest interview with Rahul Pandey to find out
Staff Engineer. Building joinTaro.com to help engineers find career success. Taro, Meta, Pinterest, Stanford.
Traits of 10x engineers from a hypergrowth CEO (🦔 james hawkins at posthog) ➤ Arrogance (a bit!): They are confident in their abilities and unafraid to challenge the status quo ➤ Proactive: They don't wait for instructions but take initiative to find problems and solutions ➤ Ownership: They take ownership of their projects and see them through to completion Tactically, here is what a 10x engineer does: 1️⃣ Ask questions about the company's top challenges 2️⃣ Ship something tiny very quickly (within a week) 3️⃣ Figure out what to build and make it happen My interview with James: https://lnkd.in/gKk4r76G

"HeadshotPro was so successful it’s become my main focus," says founder Danny Postma. "I’ve started to build a team around it and that’s where our need for product analytics came from — I needed one source of truth for both marketing and developers to share.” Enter PostHog's shiny new data warehouse... “Honestly, my advice to new users would be: pull in everything you can," says Danny. "Avoid the clutter and the platform switching. Get it all into PostHog and it makes it so much easier to work with.”
