Definitely a good hire, but depending on sanctions, that could handcuff them on who will be interested as HC right away.

Tennessee hires Josh Heupel from UCF. Not a surprise as the new AD, Danny White hired him at UCF.

I'm guessing there isn't much interest in the job at the moment from top candidates considering we don't know the totality of any coming sanctions.

It'll be interesting to see if Heupel can succeed there. He walked into a great situation at UCF. Not so much this time.

Heupel is one of those guys that I’d be so pumped if we hired him as OC.. not at all as HC.
