    The product is useless if you charge wirelessly.

    I have an iPhone 14, so when I opened the box I realized the magnet was not strong enough to hold my phone without the additional non-removable magnet. This magnet must be applied to the center of the back of phone blocking my ability to wirelessly charge.

    Previously entitled: Ultimately costs a hell of a lot more than the sticker price, if you make the unfortunate choice to stick it to the lid of your MacBook.

    Despite its enticing minimal design, after less than a year of normal use on my MacBook Pro, the glue keeping the magnets & rubber pad in place on the Edge mount (the part the phone should "stick" to) semi-liquified. I'm guessing this was due to consistent heat emanating from my mounted phone, which would seem to be a factor the designers of this thing might have wanted to take into account prior to adhesive selection? Whatever the reason for this degradation, the presence of the mount was now just an inconvenience, as when I would remove the phone from it, the rubber pad & magnets would come along with it.

    I hoped to repair this situation myself with better glue, but to remove the old adhesive & get the mount in a horizontal position for new glue to fix cleanly without simultaneously putting my laptop out of commission for the duration of the repair, I would need to remove the mount from the laptop. And here's where what I thought would be a simple repair became a major expense.

    I tried my best to be careful while removing the mount from the MacBook lid, but apparently not careful enough, as MacBook lids seem to provide much less protection for the screen from the back side than a computer of such a hefty price point seemingly should (Apple, as we all well know, would just prefer that we buy another, newer machine anyway), and by the time the mount was fully removed, the screen was irreversibly damaged and needed to be completely replaced, at my own considerable expense, of course, because how could this possibly be construed as Rolling Square's fault/responsibility? Grrr.

    Don't make the same mistake. Leave your laptop lid be. Avoid even the chance of this nonsense entirely: just buy a small, even cheaper desk stand that puts yr phone in almost the exact same position next to your opened laptop screen.
