My ISP has some sort of weird WiFi router that drops connections from some factory Lenovo laptops. Other WiFis work fine. So I plugged these in and problem solved. Cheap, easy, reliable.
NnjnbbnnWarning. I tried in my slightly oddball Linux PC and it was not plug and play. Chasing the drivers did not seem worth the effort.

I recently purchased this WIFI adapter because the internal NIC in my laptop kept "disconnecting". All I had to do was plug this WIFI adapter into my laptop and it worked right away. It does come with a disc but I didn't need to load anything to get it to work.I love the fact that is very small and only sticks out a little more than 1/4" from the computer. The speed on this thing is crazy. I was only getting around 45Mbps with my old NIC but this WFI adapter consistently gets me over 550Mbps download and over 70Mbps upload.I would HIGHLY recommend this WIFI adapter to anyone that is in the market to buy one.

I installed the TPLink nano on an old Microsoft surface tablet pro to replace the original built in wireless card which is only 2,4GHz.
I let you judge the difference between the TPLink and the built in adapter.
NOT BAD AT ALL, but certainly not the maximum speed. One of the reason is that my wireless router is installed in my basement.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. It's small and efficient.
