Weredogs are therianthropes who transform into dogs or half-dogs. As other such creatures, they are hardly hurt by steel but are vulnerable to silver.
Their most common way to aquire this is through a curse, though it is likely they may be born from a weredog parent. These creatures have full control of their shapeshifting abilities, though it is unknown whether there is a cure.[1]

- Cynanthrophe is a Greek term for a weredog, but hasn't appeared in the books or comics yet, though so far, Andrzej Sapkowski tends to use real world Greek names for his werecreatures, such as lycanthrope for a werewolf and therianthrope as a term encompassing all such beasts.
