Juna was a lady of Gelibol during the 13th century and the wife of Potrim.[1]

Biography[]

After her daughter Giltine fled to the Kestrel Mountains for a lament, Juna went mad, believing Giltine had been kidnapped by the same witches aiding her sorrow, even going as far as becoming suicidal and randomly attacking Potrim.

Not long after, the witcher Geralt of Rivia arrived in Neisse and nearby in the woods found a group of water hags about to attack Juna. After he saved her, the witcher and Agobard returned Juna to her husband, and set off in search of Giltine. After returning a while later with the young girl, Juna became overjoyed to have her daughter back and randomly attacked Potrim again, this time biting his nose. As her mental health had deteriorated so far, Juna that evening stood by as Giltine killed her father for the years of sexual abuse he had inflicted on her. Moments later, Geralt burst into the room looking for Potrim to confront him about the abuse, and so Giltine, concurrently possessed by a lamia, called for the house guards, stating the witcher had killed her father. After Geralt got knocked out in a fight with them, he awoke tied-up to Giltine and Juna alone with him and the three unfolded the events and their moralities, ending with the possessed Giltine stating she would not stop and she would kill the men in all of Gelibol if needed to teach them respect for women.[1]

As Giltine went to confront Agobard, Geralt managed to convince Juna to untie him under one reasoning: she could have her revenge but save her daughter by letting herself be tied-up, possessed, and then killed by him as the lamia's final host, this being her demise hours later when the lamia possessed her attempting to get back to Giltine.[1]
