Arthur Kilpatrick is a bail bondsman and the proprietor of a Santa Monican bail bond bureau.
Background[]
Arthur Kilpatrick is an 11th Generation vampire. He Embraced his brother Nick Kilpatrick in 1994, and at some point after that, disappeared.[1]
Kilpatrick is a small-time bail bondsman who hires bounty hunters, such as Carson. When the fledgling first meets Kilpatrick, Carson is missing.
Like most of the characters the fledgling may interact with in Santa Monica, Kilpatrick too has noticed the increasing population of suspicious residents. He is also aware of the resort city's falling status, but seems to be unconcerned about this.
Personality[]
Kilpatrick is quite friendly and always quick to help the fledgling with any questions. Kilpatrick also seems to be rather neutral on the rising crime rate in Santa Monica, stating that it "ain't bad for business." This not only reveals his apathy for Santa Monica, but also his priorities. He admires people who are confident and courageous. Hannah Glazer, however, has a less flattering opinion on him, considering him a "sick" person. He likes handcuffs and women's prison uniforms.

- When first meeting Kilpatrick, he will tell the fledgling that his current and best bounty hunter, Carson, has gone missing. He asks the fledgling to find Carson for him as he cannot leave the 24-Hour Bail Bonds unattended.
- After completing the quest A Bounty for the Hunter, Kilpatrick will ask the fledgling for one last favor. Kilpatrick needs help in tracking down a man named Mike Durbin, who has three outstanding warrants and who had missed his last court date.

- At the Santa Monica Medical Clinic, Kilpatrick's medical file can be found on Dr. Malcolm's computer in his office. According to the file, Kilpatrick has a severe tinea infection caused by untreated herpes, simplex 2. Tinea infection, otherwise known as ringworm, is a highly contagious fungal infection of the skin or scalp. Herpes type 2, HSV-2, are genital herpes as opposed to HSV-1, oral herpes.
- He is a client of Hannah Glazer, an escort. She had an appointment with him on September 9, 2004, and made a note to bring handcuffs and an orange jumpsuit, since Arthur liked to play "Lockdown at the Women's Prison."
- If the PC is a Malkavian, they will refer to Kilpatrick as a "keymaster." This is a reference to Ghostbusters. Kilpatrick was designed to resemble adult film actor Ron Jeremy, who cameoed in some of the crowd scenes at the end of Ghostbusters.
- His behaviour and characteristics in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines are those of a human despite being cannonically a vampire. He can be turned into a blood doll with high enough seduction skill, independent of the player's gender and is affected by those Disciplines from which vampires are usually inmune such as Dominate.
