Audience Awards

Audience Awards

Every year, Tribeca awards 2 Narrative and 2 Documentary category films official Audience Awards laurels. These films are selected purely by our audience of Tribeca Festival attendees. 1st and 2nd place winners of the Audience Awards will have encore screenings (pending availability) on the final days of the Festival.

How To Vote

Voting this year is completed 100% online through our “My Tickets” platform, which can be accessed by logging in with your email address on our website or by visiting tribecafilm.com/festival/my-tickets. To login, click the small icon of a person in a circle either in the top right corner of the navigation bar or in the bottom left corner of the webpage (you may need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the webpage). When clicking on this icon, you will be prompted to enter your email address which will then direct you to the “My Tickets” page. Use the email address associated with your ticket or badge. When logged in to “My Tickets”, attendees can vote for eligible screenings from their listed tickets or enter the ticket ID in the field after clicking the “Vote for a show you attended” button at the top of the page. Badge holders will see the events they have scanned in for and be able to vote for eligible films listed.

Please review the tutorial below for additional guidance on how to access “My Tickets” and cast your vote.

Know Before You Vote

Only one vote per purchased screening of a film. You cannot vote for a film until the screening has ended. Voting is a 5 star rating system, with 1 star being the lowest rating and 5 stars the highest rating. Changing your rating does not count as a new vote, it will override your previous vote.

Last Day to Vote

Voting ends at 11:59pm on Friday June 14th.

I don’t know what email address is associated with my ticket.

If you received a ticket and do not know the associated email address, login to “My Tickets” using your email address and enter the ticket ID in the field after clicking the “Vote for a show you attended” button at the top of the page. You will now be able to vote for this screening.

How do I know if a film is eligible?

Not all films are eligible to compete in the Audience Awards. Films eligible for Audience Awards voting will have a pre-show screen card declaring eligibility and a post show Q&A screen card to remind attendees to vote. Only eligible films will display the option for you to vote on your “My Tickets” page.
