Trinity is an underground organization that threatens the world. Both Richard Croft and Lara Croft fought against their plans.
An ancient organization intent on using the supernatural as a means to rule over humanity, they established a vast clandestine network of operatives across the world planted discreetly on all levels of the hierarchy of society to hunt down and obtain all artifacts or individuals that possess great power.
Trinity would learn of the tale of Himiko and her power over life and death, and sought to acquire her power to fulfill their goals, infiltrating Patna, a subsidiary of Croft Holdings, a vast empire owned by the Croft family, and tracking Richard Croft after he began searching a way to go to Yamatai, Himiko's final resting place. While they managed to send their agent, Mathias Vogel, to the island to use Richard to find the tomb of the former Queen of Japan. Their plans were halted after Richard faked his death and evaded Trinity's search, leaving them without any means to enter the tomb or find the pathway.
Despite their loss of Richard Croft, Ana Miller would still keep an eye on Lara Croft, as her claim to her family's empire, and thus wealth and resources, would aid in their plans, who would evade her inheritance due to not believing that her father is dead. Meanwhile, Mathias would capture anyone who ended up stranded on Yamatai and used his team of mercenaries to put them to work on finding Himiko's tomb by working on the mines in Yamatai, believing the tomb to be underground as it's the perfect hiding spot.
On the island Yamatai, the company that supplied everything was Patna, a subsidiary of Croft Holdings. Patna however was controlled and lead by Trinity.

- This incarnation is an amalgamation of both Trinity and the Solarii Brotherhood from the Survivor Timeline.
- Mathias Vogel being the leader of at the very least a faction of Trinity, if not the whole organisation, runs counter to the games, as the Mathias of the 2013 game was never indicated to be affiliated with Trinity in anyway, and Trinity in fact wanted Mathias dead, as they considered him a heretic much like the Deathless Prophet.
