Lord Richard Croft is a character in Tomb Raider movie. He is the father of Lara Croft and the deuteragonist of the same film.
Biography[]
Richard Croft has been missing for seven years[1] and is thought to be dead. Ana Miller pushes his daughter Lara to sign the papers declaring him dead. Richard however is alive and trapped on the island Yamatai. He is hiding from Trinity, who are also on the island looking for the tomb of Himiko.
Later, after reuniting with his daughter, both Richard and Lara worked together to prevents Trinity from releasing the virus to the entire world. He sacrafised himself using a bomb, saving the world and his daughter from the virus.

- In the trailer, his grave reads Sir Richard Croft, this mistake was fixed in the theatrical release.
- He and Lara share a signature sign by kissing their own hand and holding two fingers out to each other.
