Original Timeline[]
Pieter Van Eckhardt was imprisoned under the Castle Kriegler in Germany. During the allied attack in the World War II the castle was destroyed and Eckhardt escaped.
Survivor Timeline[]
In the year 866, Iacobus traveled across the North, to the borders of the Baltic Sea. On the island of RĂĽgen. He discovered the Artifact and series of cryptic messages carved in the rock among altar stones and ancient megaliths. For many years, he lived among Slavs that inhabited the island, seeking to unlock the mystery of the Artifact. At last, after more than a decade of trial and error, he was successful in unlocking its purpose, and his soul was bound to it[1].
Lara Croft visited Germany to find a way to help her friend Samantha Nishimura get rid of Himiko possession. She seeks out Professor Morrow who wrote about the Wei Mirror. While taking privately in a church, they were attacked by the Trinity.[2] They escaped into the basement from the gunfire, where Lara uncovered a secret pathway. After resurfacing into the city, Professor Morrow took Lara to see her friend Greta.[3] Lara managed to find the Wei Mirror and set a trap for possessed Sam with Jonah Maiava.[4] They eventually managed to capture Sam and lock her in with the Wei Mirror. Sam had to mentally defeat Himiko to get her body back, which she did. Lara then took Sam to the hospital and contacted her parents.[5]

- Germany was a planned part of Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, but was cut from the final game[6].
