Castle Kriegler is castle of the Kriegler family in Germany near the Czech Republic border, where Pieter Van Eckhardt was imprisoned. The Krieglers guarded him until the World War II when the allied bombing destroyed the castle, and released Eckhardt. The Kriegler family line died in the bombing and the castle has been in ruins since[1].
