I am once again here to remind you that Prime Day, specifically the second day, is here, and the biggest tech brands are rolling out some of their best deals of the year. I’ve combed through those live deals and sorted the truly great ones from those you can skip. Reliability is super-important when you’re buying a gadget you intend to use regularly, so I’ve been extra-careful about only including deals from reputable brands and deals of 20 percent off or more. I’ve seen some good discounts on home-entertainment devices like Rokus and Fire TVs, plus some great audio gear (including one of my favorite Bluetooth speakers). There are quite a few Apple products on sale, too, including the lowest price ever on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Amazon is also discounting a number of its products, including some of its flagships like the Kindle Scribe. Since it’s day two, some of the deals from yesterday may not be active anymore, but some other hot-ticket items may be discounted only for the second day.

Quick note: You’ll need a Prime membership to access these sales, and there are going to be a lot of deals floating around, so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you don’t miss the best deals.

If you’re looking for good discounts in other product categories, check out our roundup of all the best Prime Day deals. There are nearly 200 deals in there, so if you’d prefer a slightly more curated list, my colleagues and I have selected our top three Prime Day deals in every category. You can find those in our roundup of the 45 very best Prime Day deals, according to Strategist writers.

The Deals I Personally Think Are the Best

This is my sixth year covering Prime Day tech deals, so I know which discounts are truly worthwhile. It’s one of the best times of year to get a deal on Amazon devices (it’s the retail giant’s own event, after all) as well as on robot vacuums (plus other types of vacuums) and gaming accessories. The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni, Backbone One, and Kindle Scribe are all at their lowest prices ever.

Cell phones and wearables

Apple Watch Series 9 GPS - 45mm
$310
$310

Our pick for best smartwatch overall for iPhone owners is 28 percent off right now.

Apple Watch Ultra 2
$700
$700

It’s not quite 20 percent off, but this is the lowest price I’ve seen on Apple’s latest rugged smartwatch. It’s my daily driver thanks to its larger screen, customizable action button, and added durability. I wrote a full review of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 Prime Day deal here.

Oura Ring
From $349
From $349

If you want a wearable that’ll track your metrics without slapping one on your wrist, the Oura ring is small but still tracks your sleep, heart rate, and even stress levels. It’s just below 20 percent off, but it’s still a great deal.

Our best overall fitness tracker is 36 percent off today. Its small footprint, handy display, and robust tracking features make it a great pick for those who like to track their health metrics.

I’ve used this wireless charging stand at my desk for nearly three years, and it’s still one of the best bangs for your buck in the category. It’s a good deal at 35 percent off.

This tiny wall charger, which has two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, is down to its lowest price ever at 46 percent off.

Anker Magnetic Power Bank
$31
$31

If your gadgets are always running on low, a portable charger can help. This one has enough juice to charge an iPhone 15 Pro from zero to 100, and it’s 21 percent off today.

If you’re tired of your phone’s included charging cables fraying, or you just need one with a longer reach, I like Anker’s braided nylon cables, which last longer and can reach from my outlet to the end of my couch. This two-pack is 36 percent off right now, which is a lot cheaper than even a single cable can be.

At 28 percent off, you won’t find a better way to charge your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods wirelessly all at once.

I like charging my iPhone over MagSafe as it leaves my USB-C port available for other things like an audio cable, and this one even has a kickstand for watching a movie. Right now it’s 33 percent off, making it significantly cheaper than Apple’s own option, which doesn’t have a kickstand.

$54

Casetify makes some of my favorite cases, and several friends have told me they’d have one too if not for its high prices. Today, though, its cases are up to 20 percent off, and it has a ton of custom options to choose from.

Gaming

My favorite mobile controller is down to its lowest price right now. The USB-C version, which fits larger phones and supports both iOS and Android devices, is 30 percent off, while the Lightning version that supports older iPhones is 50 percent off.

Logitech’s got a lot of deals, especially on gaming gear. This wireless gaming mouse is packed with RGB lights and 11 customizable buttons, and it’s 49 percent off right now.

Mechanical keyboards have a typewriterlike clickiness that standard keyboards simply can’t match. This one from Logitech has customizable RGB lights and replaceable keycaps so you can make the keyboard look even better. This one was a little cheaper yesterday ($140), but it’s still a good deal today, too, at 21 percent off.

Elgato Stream Deck MK.2
$110

Many gamers and streamers have recommended this handy way to automate tasks on your computer, like starting a Twitch stream, opening specific apps, and controlling media playback. It’s totally customizable, and right now it’s 27 percent off.

Entertainment

Roku Express 4K+
$27
$27

Roku has long been known for its affordable streaming devices, and the Express 4K+ is no different. It’s small and has 4K playback plus a voice remote. It’s 25 percent off right now and about as affordable as these devices get.

Xgimi MoGo 2 Pro
$459
$459

One of our favorite portable projectors is 26 percent off right now; just in time for your next movie night.

Amazon Fire TV Cube
$100
$100

Amazon’s cube-shaped streaming box, which is almost a third off right now, has 4K playback plus all the features of a smart speaker.

If you’ve never used a trial of Amazon’s music-streaming service and you’re a Prime member, you can get five months of free access to the unlimited tier of Prime Music.

Tablets and e-readers

If you want an e-reader that you can doodle or take notes on, check out Amazon’s largest, stylus-friendly Kindle at the lowest price I’ve it seen for.

Amazon Kindle
$85
$85

If you want a more travel-friendly e-reader, get the standard Kindle; I love its compact design and pixel-dense e-ink display. It’s only 15 percent off, but it’s about the best discount you can get on this model (it was briefly $5 cheaper).

Audio

Apple AirPods (3rd Generation)
$140
$140

AirPods are some of the best wireless earbuds you can get if you’re in the Apple ecosystem. Yesterday, the second-generation was just $69. That deal is over, but you can still get the third-generation AirPods for $50 off. For the higher price and newer generation, you get a MagSafe wireless charging, a higher IP rating, and spatial audio.

Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro
$160
$160

Our best wireless earbuds overall for Samsung users have outstanding sound for their size, and they’re basically AirPods for Galaxy phones. There’s a new generation model that just came out, but at 52 percent off, I’d still recommend these.

$250

My personal favorite Bluetooth speaker, which basically doubles as a lava lamp, is 20 percent off right now. Fun fact: It’s great for kids, too. My 2-year-old niece loves to play with hers.

Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 3
$60
$60

The previous-generation version of our best Bluetooth speaker overall is 34 percent off today. It’s tiny and loud, and the sound is crisp and clear.

Sonos Roam 2
$143
$143

It’s tough to go wrong with a Sonos speaker: They all sound great, plus their ability to stream audio across multiple devices is unmatched. This portable speaker is 21 percent off right now, making it a great addition to your existing Sonos rig or an entry into the ecosystem.

JBL Authentics 300
$350
$350

I’ve long been a fan of JBL’s audio gear, and this speaker is no exception. Its sound is loud and vibrant, and it’s one of the few Bluetooth speakers with Alexa and Google Assistant integration. At 22 percent off, it’s a great portable speaker that’s easy to carry around.

JBL’s smaller speaker, the Flip 6, isn’t as loud as the Authentics 300, but for its size, it’s still loud enough to work for a small gathering or a personal jam session. It’s 26 percent off right now, making it quite cheap for a great-sounding speaker.

This tiny speaker is waterproof, boasts quite loud sound for its size, and it’s down to its lowest price ever.

My favorite noise-canceling headphones are 26 percent off. This pair does an excellent job in blocking out the noise around you.

Apple AirPods Max
$450
$450

Their noise cancellation isn’t quite as good as the Sony’s, but the AirPods Max have better integration with Apple products, which is why they’re the pair I turn to almost daily. They’re 28 percent off today, which is pretty rare for an Apple product.

Google Pixel Buds Pro
From $140

These are the best wireless earbuds for Android users, especially at 40 percent off, thanks to their ability to seamlessly transfer between devices.

We’ve long recommended this handy way to connect your AirPods or other wireless earbuds to a 3.5-mm. headphone jack, like those on airplanes.

Smart home

Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
$1,260
$1,260

I love this robot vacuum for both vacuuming and mopping my floors. It has a self-cleaning option for its mopping pads, which means even less hands-on effort on your part.

Google Nest Thermostat
$85
$85

Smart thermostats aren’t just good for adjusting the temperature without having to get up: They also work for adapting to the higher temperatures we’re all dealing with right now without intervention on your part. Google’s offering is 35 percent off today.

Mesh networks can help you spread your Wi-Fi signal across your home more effectively. They’re usually pricey, but this Eero bundle, which comes with one router and one beacon for an extended signal, is a great set to get started with.

$27

You can also just get a Wi-Fi extender and build your own mesh network if you’d like to save some money. TP-Link is well known for its routers. The price is $4 higher today than it was yesterday, but still quite affordable.

This bundle gets you a smart speaker plus a multicolored smart bulb that you can control with Alexa.

Home-security gear isn’t cheap, but bundles help. Right now, you can get a whopping 62 percent off a three-pack of Blink’s outdoor cameras, which have motion detection, two-way audio, and up to two years of battery life.

If you need a baby monitor or an indoor security camera that you can watch from your phone, this one from Google is 30 percent off.

Blink Mini 2
$20
$20

Indoor cameras come in handy too if you want to keep an eye on your pets while you’re gone, or to just have some peace of mind. Blink’s newest compact indoor camera is half off right now, so you can grab a couple if you need to.

Tile Mate - 2 Pack
$35
$35

If you’re tired of losing your wallet, backpack, or any other miscellaneous gear, attaching a smart tag to it will help you keep track of your item. You can grab a two-pack right now for 31 percent off.

Amazon Echo Show 8
$85

If you like your smart speaker to have a screen, Amazon’s Echo Show 8 is a solid device for watching videos, viewing recipes, and seeing what music is playing on your current Spotify playlist. It’s 43 percent off right now and at its lowest price ever.

If you want an easy way to control things like your floor fan or string lights without needing to buy one with smart capabilities, this Alexa-enabled plug that you can control from an app or with your voice is 48 percent off right now.

Home

One of my favorite digital picture frames is 20 percent off today; it’s a nice-looking, user-friendly way to display all those photos of your loved ones from your camera roll. Plus it makes a great gift.

One of our favorite digital picture frames, a less-expensive version of our best overall, is 21 percent off right now. It’s basically like a private Instagram feed of all your family photos, since anyone in the group can upload new pictures to the frame.

If you want a TV that doubles as a picture frame, Samsung’s The Frame has surprised me with its popularity. It has a 4K resolution, customizable bezel (there are seven colors you can choose from when you order), and an anti-reflection display. At 39 percent off, it’s a solid TV/picture-frame combo.

One of my favorite smart alarm clocks is 20 percent off right now. Its sunrise light is subtle yet effective, and it pairs well with the company’s lamp.

While I like the Loftie because it pairs with the lamp, Hatch’s Restore 2 is a better stand-alone sunrise clock since its light is brighter and has customizable colors. It’s 27 percent off right now; a better wake-up routine is worth that.
