Shotokan (松濤館流 Shōtōkan-ryū) is a style of the art of karate, developed from various martial arts by Gichin Funakoshi (1868–1957) and his son Gigo (Yoshitaka) Funakoshi (1906–1945).
Mortal Kombat[]
In the Mortal Kombat series, Shotokan is used by Sub-Zero in Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon and appears as a selectable fighting stance in Kreate A Fighter mode from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.
