Ice Bomb

Ice Bombs are cybernetic bombs that contain a below zero temperature base. They are primarily used by Cyber Sub-Zero and Triborg when shapeshifting into the former. While deployed like Cyrax's Bomb, they function differently in the manner that after the bomb explodes, the opponent is frozen in the air after the explosion. Alternatively, the bombs can be detonated shortly after their explosion to freeze an area of the arena and should the opponent step on them, their legs will be frozen to the ice patch, leaving them vulnerable.

In Mortal Kombat 11, the Cyber Lin Kuei Assembly arena houses multiple Cyber Lin Kuei bombs including an Ice Bomb. Sub-Zero's gear cosmetics also feature small Ice Bombs for a belt cosmetic, changing his kunais to the bombs, however they are never used in gameplay.
