The Enenra are creatures of smoke and vapor who possess a shapeless form in the Mortal Kombat universe. They are at times created from the souls of slain mortals, and can return to their physical forms.

The only known Enenra is Smoke, an assassin of the Lin Kuei. Not much is known of the creatures. Smoke's ending in Mortal Kombat (2011) depicts Enenra as hulking, hunchbacked humanoid beings with black skin, claws, and a maw instead of a head.
In Mortal Kombat X, the Revenant Smoke has disregarded his old code name and now goes by Enenra.
Abilities[]
As creatures made out of smoke, Enenra's abilities are related to it. They can turn invisible, create toxic clouds of smoke, and turn into smoke to slip behind their enemies or let attacks harmlessly pass through them. They can also take on a human form. As their stature suggests, they also seem to be physically stronger than the average human while in their base form.

Enenra are based on Japanese spirits of the same name. Unlike in the Mortal Kombat series, Enenra they look like a veil of smoke with a human face. They appear from the fires, and only those who are pure in heart can see them.
