Quote1 Dylan Brock is the name of Eddie's son. But I am not human. Venom is your name. I am not Klyntar. I am the broken chain. I know it now -- the truth. The meaning. I am not a cage. Not an eventuality, but an endless possibility. I am a key. A Codex. Quote2

Synopsis for "Venomworld - Part Two"

Slashing at Dylan, the Keeper snarls that the only way out of "Venomworld" is through him. Narrowly evading, Dylan protests that he doesn't want to fight his father, but the Keeper furiously uppercuts him and snaps that if Dylan cannot face the truth in the black crystal cage if he cannot face the truth in front of him. Punching Dylan back to the ground, the Keeper says that he was the one who started this by telling Dylan to bond to the Venom symbiote, and raised him to be too naive to question his choices. Pummelling Dylan, the Keeper says that his past and future are converging upon Dylan and he is not ready. Transforming his arm into a blade, Dylan lashes out and slashes the Keeper across the chest. Horrified, Dylan breaks down and tearfully asks why the Keeper is making him fight and kill his own father. The Keeper asks if that is the question he really wants to ask, and Dylan demands to know why Eddie abandoned him after becoming the King in Black. Impaling himself through the heart on Dylan's arm-blade, the Keeper hugs Dylan and says he doesn't know -- merely being an echo of Eddie's memories -- and that Dylan will have to figure out the answers to those questions himself. Assuring Dylan that his path begins with stepping out of Eddie Brock's shadow, the Keeper melts into symbiote ooze that bonds to Dylan in the form of Venom with a red emblem and hand-patches. Climbing one of the chains, Dylan vows to escape the Venomworld and learn the truth, and that once he does he's coming for Eddie.

Escorting Dylan's comatose body to a helicoptor on the roof of the Life Foundation Medical Research Hub, Spearhead tells a group of Life Foundation soldiers that Carlton Drake ordered them to take Dylan's body to the Ildefonso Archipelago facility. A cloud of teargas covers the helipad as Hank Hensley -- under the control of the Sleeper symbiote -- steps forward. As the Sleeper Agent lunges, Spearhead orders the soldiers to light it up with flamethrowers. Sleeper Agent counters with a fire-dampening polyurethane and mockingly incapacitates several of the soldiers, Spearhead ordering the rest to load Dylan onto the helicoptor while he holds Sleeper off. As Spearhead tries to impale Sleeper Agent with his sonic spear, Sleeper Agent catches it and says that he nullified its effects by synthesizing an air-filled non-newtonian fluid. Snapping Spearhead's weapon in half and kicking him to the ground, Sleeper Agent says that having captured it once before means little since symbiotes are exponentially stronger with a host than without one, and it's the most-powerful symbiote the Life Foundation has ever encountered. Threatening to tear Spearhead apart molecule by molecule if he goes after Dylan again, Sleeper Agent reveals that he was a decoy and melts, the real Sleeper Agent having incapacitated the remaining guards and loaded Dylan onto the helicoptor -- piloted by Archer Lyle. Powerless to stop them, Spearhead watches as the helicopter takes off, Sleeper telling Archer to fly them back to Baywater so they can find Venom.

In the sewers of Baywater, the Venom symbiote is slowly decaying. Inside its mental world, Dylan ascends into what the Venom symbiote's voice calls "Meu Klyntar". Making his way to its core, Dylan says that the Keeper said he would find the truth. The Venom symbiote's voice tells Dylan to examine his reflection, saying the truth is a mirror, and asks who he is. Reaching out to touch the reflective surface of Meu Klyntar's core, Dylan says that he is Venom. The symbiote corrects him, saying that it is Venom, but he is something else -- asking if he can sense it. As Dylan says that he is Dylan Brock, tendrils extrude from the core and begin pulling him in arm-first. The Venom symbiote says that Dylan is as much its son as Eddie's, again asking who he is. As Dylan admits he doesn't know, he is pulled into the core of Meu Klyntar. The Venom symbiote says that deep down Dylan has known who and what he is all along, ever since he was conceived. Reduced to a zygote, Dylan develops into a fetus that rapidly matures before being expelled in an amniotic sac of living abyss. The Venom symbiote states that Eddie taught Dylan to fear and run from the truth of himself because he loved him, but that the time to face the truth has come. The Venom symbiote explains that when Dylan bonds to a symbiote he rips it from the Symbiote Hive-Mind, and that he can change them not by thought but through instinct. The Venom symbiote states that it named Dylan when he was born, and that Eddie thought the name was beautiful at first but feared what it would mean for him, attempting to execrate Dylan's true power away with his King in Black powers while thwarting Knull's attempt to take over Dylan's body. Reborn, Dylan reaches into the core of Meu Klyntar and pulls out All-Black the Necrosword as the Venom symbiote asks if he now knows and understands the meaning of his true name.

As Dylan acknowledges and accepts his true nature and purpose, Meu Klyntar implodes, destroying Venomworld. Sleeper Agent and Archer carry Dylan's body through the sewers and bond him to the dying Venom symbiote. Rising in a white-haired adult form with glowing red eyes and an appearance similar to his Earth-1051 counterpart, Dylan brandishes All-Black and declares himself to be Codex.
