Alma was a blind resident of Queens. Due to her allergies, she never had a service dog. During Kraven's invasion of New York, Alma reported a disturbance in her backyard that she attributed to a monster. She requested Spider-Man's help via the FNSM app to take care of it. Spider-Man investigated the disturbance only to find it was caused by one of Kraven's robotic dogs that was malfunctioning. WIth help from Ganke Lee, he reprogrammed it into a service dog for Alma, which was rechristened Fido.^[1]
