Xbox Game Showcase Will Reportedly be 2 Hours Long, Here's What We Know

The Xbox Game Showcase is set to take place on June 9, 2024, and it is a big day for the players as they can expect the biggest announcements to arrive at this event. The Xbox Games Showcase will be followed by a Call of Duty direct event, that will tell us about the upcoming Black Ops 6 title. However, many players have been wondering about the duration of the Xbox Games Showcase and it seems that we might have an idea.
Spotted by HazzardorGaming, industry insider, Jeff Grubb recently spoke about the topic during Kinda Funny Games’ Xbox 2024 Showcase Prediction podcast. Grubb stated that he doesn’t wish to spoil anything, but according to his sources, the event should be approximately “two hours” long. Moreover, during that period, we should expect more than 30 games to be showcased. The showcase will also include a “handful” of games that “we’ve never heard of before”.

During the same Podcast, the members also discussed several predictions for the event. Games such as 1vs100, Gears 6, Towerborne, Hollow Knight: Silksong and many more. In terms of hardware, there were also talks about a handheld console being revealed at the event, however, they are not sure.
According to Grubb, we may not receive a proper reveal, but maybe a “silhouette” of the device as a tease at the event, but that is still a bit far-fetched. Other than that there were talks about a mid-gen refresh for the Xbox Series X, with higher storage capacity, but similar in terms of performance. Check out the full podcast below.
