ISCHMAEL'S THEORY:

Godzilla Junior was a shade of Green, as is Godzilla 2000 and the film after that. Since we have NO idea what the Godzilla's color at the end of DESTROYAH was, it supports my theory that over time, the spikes shortened, his height grew, and his skin changed color as well as his internal energy causing his radioactive blast to change color from red to blue.
