The function of submarine drones is to travel and survey the Hollow Earth, but they can go so long in the Hollow Earth before they shut down.
History[]
Godzilla: King of the Monsters[]
A group of submarine drones were launched to locate Godzilla and discovered large temples that were revealed to led towards the surface of the Hollow Earth. When they reached there, they finally found Godzilla before powering down due to the high levels of radiation of the Hollow Earth.
