Operation Long March was a mission undertaken during the events of the 2018 prequel novelization, Godzilla: Project Mechagodzilla.
History[]
The operation began when the Earth Union Forces were facing Kumonga, Kamacuras, giant rats, Condors, Griffons, Meganula, and Rodan. The Earth Union was low on man power, to the point of children being used as soldiers, while the Bilusaludo were working on Mechagodzilla at Mount Fuji.
The operation was meshed together with Operation LTF, with the goal of gaining the ability to control monsters, and the Bilusaludo utilized Gigan as a natural weapon against Godzilla during the operation. Through the use of nanometal, Gigan was given immense regenerative capabilities, and was able to withstand multiple attacks by Godzilla, being repaired and sent back into combat each time. Godzilla eventually overpowered Gigan, and completely destroyed him.
