Nvidia shares were soaring as tech stocks led markets higher following strong results from AMD and a positive note from analysts at Morgan Stanley.
Nvidia (NVDA) shares jumped on Wednesday morning. There are a few things driving the stock. One is rival AMD's (AMD) results, which were better than expected, fueled by demand for its AI chips. Another reason is that it was named a "top pick" at Morgan Stanley. Analyst Joseph Moore writes that the stock has "sold off on a large list of concerns that we think are likely to fade with time" presenting "a good entry point as we continue to hear strong data points short term and long term." Morning Brief anchors Seana Smith and Brad Smith discuss the call in the video above. For more expert insight and the latest market action, click here to watch this full episode of Morning Brief.
