Last month, our Professional Women & Allies Community @ Express group partnered with I Support The Girls to collect essential items for women in need to honor Women's History Month. Thank you to our associates for their generous donations that support those experiencing homelessness, impoverishment or distress. We are proud to say #iworkatexpress and #giveback to the community.

We partnered with NFL star Marquez Valdes-Scantling as he hosted the first-ever Luxe Fashion Fest, a unique runway experience that brought together athletes, creatives and artists to inspire confidence and self-expression. Co-hosted by Shaquem Griffin, NFL legend and inclusion advocate, and ESPN sports reporter and MLB Network personality Abby Labar, the VIP fashion event included collections from some of the freshest designers across the country. #ExpressYou https://lnkd.in/g-9vdHiD

To encourage year-round dialogue beyond #BlackHistoryMonth, members of the Black, African and African American + Allies Community@Express Group held a celebratory and informative discussion on “Legacies in Fashion Through the Black Perspective.” The panel featured special guests Kyle Bridgeforth, Tasha L., Kimberly Lee Minor, Cydni M. Robertson, PhD, and UpWest’s Rob Smith. “Speaking on this panel was a full-circle moment for me. Last week, we had the opportunity to participate in a HR panel and networking session at The Ohio State University in partnership with the Ohio State Fashion and Retail Studies. Our conversations focused on preparing students for career fairs and interviews as well as the importance of networking as they embark on their first role after graduating. Wagner (University of Kentucky) and Tyrese Proctor (Duke University)—and introduce our first female collegiate basketball partners, The Ohio State University players Jacy Sheldon and Kaia Henderson.
