Where do you get rose geranium syrup?
Delicious even without the syrup. An easy use for fresh peaches.
thaw the peaches
It’s pleasant, but I found myself straining it.
I had no source for the syrup and no time to make it, so I used rose water from my grocery store (near angostura bitters etc.--maybe available in some liquor stores too). But rose water is not a syrup, as called for in the recipe. Instead of 2 teaspoons of syrup, add just ¼ teaspoon of the rose water, and use your sweetener of choice--a Medjool date in my case. Someday I'll try making the rose geranium syrup, but until then, this formula is a good substitute.
