What an incredible week for CarbonRun! Last week, we had the privilege of engaging with the community and listening to valuable perspectives on CO2 removal and river alkalinity enhancement at our Open House. We wanted to send a huge thank you to the Pictou community for making our Open House a resounding success! We were honored by your turnout and the enthusiasm. Our conversations were incredibly insightful, and we learned so much from your questions and feedback. Together we can use these new learnings to increase the benefits of river restoration and CO2 removal projects for local communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with such an engaged and thoughtful community. Photos by Municipality of Pictou County - MOPC

Yesterday, part of the CarbonRun team had the incredible opportunity to attend COVE Demo Day, part of the OTCNS-led H2O Conference, right here in Halifax. With four dynamic stages, the event was a hub of high-action demonstrations, hands-on activities, and significant networking with global business leaders, government officials, and service providers. This event truly showcased the strength of Halifax’s oceantech ecosystem. The innovative presentations reaffirmed our excitement about the growth and potential in Nova Scotia. It was fantastic to make new connections and see familiar faces from our region and as far as Japan! A big thank you to the organizers, COVE and Ocean Technology Council of Nova Scotia (OTCNS), for putting together such an impactful event. #COVEDemoDay #Oceantech #Halifax #NovaScotia

Congratulations to our team member, Giancarlo Otani, for his incredible feat at finishing one the hardest races in eastern US. We are proud to be supporting you in these endeavours within nature. Both CarbonRun and Giancarlo know the importance of moving forward while doing the right thing. It is never a quick route towards success. It is embracing what we encounter ahead and tackling one goal at a time that takes us on a successful journey. Keep it up!
CRUEL JEWEL 100 FINISHER! Last week I completed the Cruel Jewel 100, a foot race deep within the Chattahoochee National Forest of the North Georgia Mountains. It was 173 kilometres long with +8,200 meters of elevation gain, in beautiful single tracks full of rocks, roots, ridge lines and lush green hardwood forests. It was a wild adventure made possible by CarbonRun, with whom I have the honour of working with. Their financial support and encouragement were a key factor in pushing this forward, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire CarbonRun team. I made a race report describing this amazing experience, and you can read all about it here: https://lnkd.in/eMXQKRxk
