UC Santa Cruz to close student trailer park

THE OTHER DEATH IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.. ## U-C SANTA CRUZ STUDENTS WERE TOLD THEY MAY HAVE TO VACATE THE CAMPER PARK ON CAMPUS EARLIER THIS WEEK. BUT NOW... AFTER MEETING WITH STUDENTS... THE UNIVERSITY TOLD STUDENTS THEY CAN STAY THROUGH THE SPRING QUARTER.... BUT ONLY IF THEY TURN OFF THEIR PROPANE TANKS. THEY SAY THIS IS DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES. THE SCHOOL SAYS THEY WILL PROVIDE DINING HALL CREDITS TO THOSE WHO AGREE TO THIER TERMS.. The University of California, Santa Cruz announced on Wednesday that they will close its student trailer park on Leonardo Lane. The university chose to close Camper Park based on "significant health and safety concerns." A safety and sustainability review process was initiated with the closure of the trailer park being the decision. Video from previous coverage.
