THE UNIVERSITY TOLD STUDENTS THEY CAN STAY THROUGH THE SPRING QUARTER.... BUT ONLY IF THEY TURN OFF THEIR PROPANE TANKS. THEY SAY THIS IS DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES. THE SCHOOL SAYS THEY WILL PROVIDE DINING HALL CREDITS TO THOSE WHO AGREE TO THIER TERMS.. UC Santa Cruz to close student trailer park
The University of California, Santa Cruz announced on Wednesday that they will close its student trailer park on Leonardo Lane. The university chose to close Camper Park based on "significant health and safety concerns." A safety and sustainability review process was initiated with the closure of the trailer park being the decision. Video from previous coverage.
