Jane Schmidt was the overarching antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's film. She was the aunt of Mike Schmidt and Abby Schmidt who always tried to gain custody of Abby.
She is played by Mary Stuart Masterson.
Physical Appearance[]
Jane appears to be quite a bit older than Mike, with visible wrinkles around her eyes and mouth. She has beige skin and brown eyes. Her hair is cut just above her shoulders and is mostly blonde with the roots growing in a dark brown.
Personality[]
At first Jane had seemed caring, trying to gain custody over Abby for her own protection, specifically from Mike; however, it is later revealed that her original intent for custody was to receive monthly checks from the government.
She is also seen to be cruel, and will result to any way to get Abby. For example, using Max and and her brother Jeff to attempt to get Mike fired from his job for negligence, which, in her plan, would hypothetically allow her to gain the custody of Abby due to a lack of income.
History[]
Jane was Mike's overbearing aunt, and she is the main antagonist of a side story revolving around who has the custody of Abby. She comes up with a plan to trash the pizzeria so that Mike can be fired for neglecting his job, and deemed too unstable to have custody over Abby. Later in the movie, she is presumedly killed by Golden Freddy in Michael's house so that Abby could go to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place. The way she was killed is unknown, however it is never directly stated she was killed, though by Golden Freddy that she was "sleeping."
Trivia[]
- The given name Jane is very similar to the name Jen, which is the name of Charlie's aunt in the Novel Trilogy. Incidentally, both are killed by animatronics outside the establishments they reside in (Circus Baby for Jen and Golden Freddy for Jane).
- It's likely that Jane smokes, as Abby comments about how she always smells like cigarettes.
