Classifications & Terminologies webinars

ICD-11 webinar series are one hour virtual sessions organized by the classifications and terminologies unit at the World Health Organization (WHO) to disseminate knowledge about the latest version of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11).

ICD-11 is internationally recognized and widely used for national and international recording and reporting of causes of illness, death and more.

These webinars are designed to enhance the understanding of healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers on ICD-11.

The topics covered in the webinar series include ICD-11 highlights and features, the distinctions between ICD-11 and its predecessor ICD-10, the implementation of ICD-11 in various healthcare settings and selected use cases for ICD-11 such as occupational health, rare diseases, dermatology and many more.

In collaboration with experts, patients and other partners from around the world, the WHO is organising these webinars with the aim of making the information accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
