I'm a long time customer and it seems service is getting sloppy. Prices from some favorite authors have skyrocketed to over $55.00 per book! Are you kidding? $55/book is NOT THRIFTbooks! Also what used to take 3-4 days delivery is taking over a week with books dribbling in. Inflation one thing...PRICE gouging another.

Really love shopping with ThriftBooks. They make it easy to find rarer or out-of-print books. The barcode picture lookup is brilliant. I love that you can wishlist different editions of a book, and that images reflect the cover of specific editions. It makes it very convenient if you're looking for a specific version of a book. The fact that you can choose different qualities of used books is great, and it's great that there's an explosion of what the terms mean. The alerts for your wishlist are also a plus. Overall, ThriftBooks is well-design and convenient to use. Shipping is extremely reasonable, especially considering I'm in Canada (shipping between the US and Canada is typically an apalling amount). My only minor concern/complaint is that the books are shipped in (recyclable!) plastic sleeves. They don't offer a lot of protection. My hardcovers look fine, but my paperback got a little crunched up in travel.

Books that are hard to find. Reasonable price. Well packaged. Prompt delivery. Bonus program for frequent buyers. I just got a free book. Have not seen anything similar from other sellers.

I ordered National Geographic Kids, 5,000 Awesome Facts (About Animals) for my grandson's 5th birthday. It arrived quickly and is a large, hard cover, great quality book. He is going to love it! I would order from here again.

Books came in good condition, however I'm not sure if the edges, lower and upper came that way or were damaged in transit. I would bet it's in transit. Maybe some heavy cardboard around each book on all edges and binding would take care of that problem in the plastic sleeve shipping. Thank you Ja'net

The books I received were all in good condition. I don't know if I would classify 2 of them as "very good". One had a tear in the back cover and they both had stickers that cannot be removed without causing damage. I ordered 4 books and received one very quickly. The other 3 took almost the entire 12 business days, which I wasn't thrilled about. I'll order again, for sure.

I usually have nothing but wonderful experiences with Thrift Books but this time I received a copy of the first I Spy that is missing 4 entire pages and now I feel extremely ripped off. I would have appreciated if someone checked to make sure the book was whole before selling it.
