I just want to start out by saying I am not the type to complain or write reviews, so the fact that I am doing so speaks volumes in itself. First of all order was automatically cancelled, which to a certain extent I did understand because I was having the product sent to my girlfriends address because it was a gift. That being said, after requesting verification of my identity they didn’t even give me 6 hours to verify myself before cancelling, I was at work at the time so didn’t see the request via whatsapp. Anyway, I placed the order again on July 4th, gave my ID etc and all was well. Its now the 17th of July, I haven’t received a refund or my package. My girlfriend had multiple notifications claiming that the package was undelivered due to damage, we were told then to contact americanuncle which we did, they told both of us they would be in touch when they had news (they didn’t), it took both le and my girlfriend messaging them, waiting 1-2 days to even get a response. Only today, 13 days after placing the order have they said I’ll be receiving my refund. Baring in mind this is a company that advertises their order time at 24/48 hours. When they were ignoring my messages on whatsapp (yes they were online and read my messages multiple times without replying), I took to instagram to voice my opinions and they blocked me! I understand things go wrong, but the sheer lack of communication and professionalism is appalling. I would strongly advise you DO NOT order from these people. I’ve essentially just wasted 13 days for nothing, and considering the stuff I was ordering were apart of a gift I am not happy to say the least. This has been the worst shopping experience I have ever had, no apology, no reassurance, they haven’t even explained in what way the products were “damaged”, all in all, 0/10. Absolutely would not recommend.

I received the newly launched Air Carbon as I supported their kickstarter campaign. I believed in the product and in their marketing information. If you are thinking of buying this bike you need to be careful about a few things: 1) The bike does not ship with a Samsung battery which was a huge reason why I bought it. This is instead made by DMEGC, whoever they are. After my query to their customer service, they sent me a picture of the Samsung battery this should be shipping with. 2) The bike does not come with a bike stand which I was instead led to believe was under development and would be included in the final product. 3) The customer service is unable to give me an ETA for the accessories I bought and did not receive. 4) The turn by turn navigation is not working, it gets stuck after the first instruction. 5) Finally as a backer of the campaign I believe that I got a much of a worse deal and product than advertised, lesser quality components, missing parts, and was misled by the marketing campaign promoting a 37% price reduction, which obviously is still not the case. They say that they are now selling it at a 'launch price' but cannot say until when this is valid. By the way this is illegal practice in Europe. Upon request to the customer service, they claim that this is much cheaper that the Carbo ebike, which they then claim not being affiliated to their company. They still have not got back to me after raising these issues. Be careful.

This is such a cool idea! I love that I can try things that I normally wouldn't. And most are actually good. I have 5 kids between the 2 of us & we all try everything together - it makes it fun to see people's faces sometimes.
