Blaze has announced that its Evercade VS-R and Evercade EXP-R consoles have been delayed, along with Tomb Raider Collection 1 and Thalamus Collection 1.
The new release date is August 30th 2024. All of these products were due to be released in July.
"We have an update for you on some release date changes for some of our upcoming hardware and cartridges," says Blaze in a press release.
"These changes are due to an unforeseen production delay and a subsequent shipping delay in transit that has forced us to move our planned release date. The release date of the Evercade VS-R, Evercade EXP-R, Tomb Raider Collection 1, and Thalamus Collection 1 will now move to August 30th 2024. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. Your retailer will shortly be updating the release date for any pre-orders and contacting you to confirm the change."

Oh, well, and extra month wont kill ye.
I'm hopingwaiting for a controller with dual sticks and a firmware that makes use of em.
40 Winks is terrible with the standard controller or even a 360 one.
Think the retro community is going to be ok with this. Just deliver a quality product that doesn't need to be patched to hell. We'll manage.
@Daggot
Considering what we usually deal with.
Price gouging ,
Obscene price tags,
Scarcity.
Stroppy ancient hardware,
Floppy analog sticks,
Leaking Caps
Dodgy graphics
Janky physics.
Moldy covers and booklets.
The Evercade comes off as a right good deal/package.
I preordered the exp-r with Tomb raider about 3 days ago I’m happy to wait a little longer though got some others cartridges coming later this week
Noooo my Thalamus Games!
I can wait, have enough Games XP
One more month isn't bad.
Disappointing, but a month isn't going to kill me. My Evercade backlog, never mind my general gaming backlog, may reduce by one or two games by that point!
My only concern is I preordered with GAME, and I'm worried Mike Ashley will run it into the ground before Tomb Raider gets shipped!
