After a quiet, incident-free run of hip-hop diss tracks, Rick Ross’ beef with Drake finally turned violent when the former found himself in a brawl in Drizzy’s home country.

As Ross’ set at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver on Sunday was coming to a close, he played Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” which is currently one of the world’s biggest songs.

As he was hopping off stage, Ross and his crew were approached by a group of men allegedly unhappy with the song being played at the festival. It’s unclear if this group of men is affiliated with Drake or OVO.

This led to a confrontation where two sides traded words before the MMG boss was punched in the face. An all-out brawl then breaks out, where both sides are seen throwing punches.

Despite all the jokes made at his behest, Ross is finally speaking on it. In a video shared to social media on Wednesday, the MMG boss gave his side of the story: “Let me tell you something. When the first dude stepped up to Rozay. The little short fat one that looks like Bam Bam Bigelow from wrestling.

He added, “When he stepped up and I squat down to his eyes and told him what I said. Basically, ‘boy if I hit you I’m going to see everything you hate for the last two days.’ His balls dropped out of his a**.

If you haven’t been paying attention, Ross has publicly enjoyed the song since it was released. He was seen playing it at a Las Vegas party he hosted the day it came out and was also present at Lamar’s June 19 “The Pop Out” concert in Inglewood, Calif., where the song was infamously performed five times in a row.

Ross was among the many rappers Drake dissed on his track “Push Ups” and was one of the few who responded with bars, so it shouldn’t be a surprise one of the biggest trolls in hip-hop is enjoying the defeat of one of his rivals at the hands of Lamar.

But Ross isn’t the only hip-hop artist publicly enjoying “Not Like Us.” Damn-near everyone has been seen publicly enjoying the song, including The Weeknd, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Demar Derozan, James Harden, North West, and each rapper who was present at “The Pop Out.”
