The Braxtons are back for more! The famous musical family is back on television, launching a brand new reality series: “The Braxtons.” The show comes more than three years after the end of their first reality series, “Braxton Family Values.”

Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and Dr. Evelyn Braxton reunite in the new series, which, according to PEOPLE, will follow the ladies as they “share new love, success, heartbreak, ongoing family dynamics and so much more.”

In the clip, the production asks the Braxton women directly why they decided to return to reality television. “We have a lot to talk about...a lot to share,” Toni said at the top of the trailer. “Being a Braxton is my legacy. It’s my birthright.”

The show also reunites viewers with the family as they mourn the loss of Traci Braxton, who passed away in March 2022 at 50 years old. “We have a missing piece,” Towanda expresses in the trailer. “It’s never going to be the same without her.”

The clip also shows footage of Toni preparing for her first return to the stage in four years, sharing during a confessional that “just a few months ago,” she had “a major scare” involving her heart. “Everyday I’m just like, ‘I hope I don’t get sick,” she says in a scene.

As The Root reported earlier this year, Dr. Evelyn shared a statement along with the series announcement, asking for grace as the family once again enters the spotlight.

“Thank you all for sharing our lives. I hope that through each one of our experiences, you’ll grow with us,” she said in the statement. “Inspiring you in your endeavors, and teaching you the importance of family, love, and experiencing life. Remember, we’re not perfect, we’re only human. Look at God.”

“The Braxtons” premieres August 9 on We TV.
